Ross will be made Deacon on 1st October.

I’m Ross and will be serving in the parish of All Saints, Lincoln

I was born in the North-East before moving to the Midlands for university where I studied history. A few more moves around the country ended with me working in Leicester for a national company in Buying. It was during this time I first had an inkling of being called to the priesthood. I married my wife, Victoria, in 2015 and began the selection process to see if the Church also thought I had a vocation. I went to BAP in 2016 and began training in 2017 at S. Stephen’s House, Oxford.

Leaving training this year has certainly brought an unusual start to ministry, my first Sunday in the parish as a licensed lay worker was the first Sunday allowed for public worship, but I’m also hopeful that the experience of the past few months will bring new opportunities to engage in our local community in Lincoln, and I’m looking forward to getting to know a new community, city and county over the next three years.
